What We Do

Every year, Heart on Main Street awards grants to independent retailers to help them accomplish their goals, refine their business, and reinvent themselves to serve their customers better.

Retailers involved in our Mentorship program are provided with hands-on guidance from award-winning retailers and other experienced retail professionals.
This is designed for new retailers (less than three years in business) to help them learn and maintain healthy business practices and create long-lasting success in their community.

Heart on Main Street understands that one of the hardest things about running a retail store is knowing how to run a retail store. So, through our monthly webinars and annual in-person speakers, learn how to run a successful business from some of the best minds in retail education.

Many great companies provide services to Main Street retailers, but they can be challenging to find, and it might be hard to know who to trust. Check out our Friends of Main Street Network to find quality companies providing the services you need to help transform your business.

Contributions to Heart on Main Street provide financial support to independent retailers through our Retailer Grant program and Disaster Relief Fund, as well as our Retail Mentorship program.
